Default Ever had this problem???

My savage 4.6 keeps losing the slipper adjusting nut and the clutchbelk holder screw. I've used loctite on them but it doesn't seem to work. When I put the nut and screw back in they just back right out when running it. I have to keep checking to make sure they are even there about every two minutes or they'll fall completely out. Thanks guys.

You need a new nylock nut for the slipper and you may need bearings and/or shims for your clutch bell.

The nylon nut was brand new since I lost the old one. Brand new in package and it still does it

The slipper slips and the nylon burns out.

On the CB bolt - make sure you give the loctite a chance to dry, I usually leave it overnight if I have the time.
The slipper nut, I have no clue... smoked many slipper pads on plastic and steel spurs and never replaced the nut or had any loosening issues..
I set my slipper tight until there is no gap in the spring and snug (don't overtighten), then back off maybe 1/8 turn.
