thanks for the tips guys, i am racing stock at the moment, a i need to run a high capacity high C rating batt to get the performance i need, i will stock with the original turnbuckles as i have never bent or broken one ( touch wood )
i am looking to shave around 100 grams of my b4 and t4 and about 150gram from my b44, i believe that might of been the difference ( especially in 4wd ) at this years recent nats last week.
thanks for the tips i will look into wiring and i will weigh some old wire to see how it comes in and how much i can save that way.
thanks again.

the only real solution is a new wheel, you would struggle to make a new mount / adapter while getting the position and balance right with the old one being stripped, maybe if you tighten it right down while it was in the original correct location you might get it.

i forget exactly what its called but they make filling putty which you put in your wheel hex and then put your wheel on your shaft and tighten it down and wait for acouple of hours, take it off and it should be hardened. and there you go! all fixed!

FYI - Selling a very lightly-used FT B4.1 with a free 50C LiPo and a bunch of extra tires and wheels. CHEAP.

Right behind the front bumper and just under/ahead of the transmission.
Do you guys run a lot of weight in the rear? I have 1/2oz in each rear sidepod and will be adding another 1/4-1/2 in front of the transmission.
Right not the rear is semi-inconsistent in the turns. If I drive aggressively, and stay on the throttle, or pin it coming out of turns, the it just squats and goes. If I roll a turn or lift the back gets loose.

First one is the B44 and the second is B44.1
Next time, just use the advanced search, its very effective
like using psychic versus fighting...
