Installed 211.. bench tested.. first few 100% throttle squeezes could tell that turbo was kicking in... thereafter, 100% throttle only produced slow motor speed... any ideas anyone?
its on a 17.5T with the following settings
#9 - 40 degrees
#10 - 18 / 0.1
#12 - 22 degrees
#13 - 3000
#14 - 0.2
#15 - 250

Need a little help please as I have a set up that feels really good but have only run it in the evening when air temps are cooler and its coming off at 80 degs after 5mins.That will obviously rise if I run it on a hot day so what I wondered is what should I change to achieve the same but with lower temps during the day.
FDR 6.5
Duo 2 17.5 endbell about 3/4s advanced
DDRS 9
no drag brake
boost 36
slope 24/01sec
turbo timing 26
start rpm 4000
delay 0.3
Timming acc 200rpm /unit.

Can't confirm the exact setting as I do not have my car with me now.
But what I do remember...
Motor: 17.5 t with fixed 0 timing at end bell (i.e. no adjustment)
FDR: 4.7 (yes,.. it is 4.7)
DDRS: 9
Drag: 10%
boost: 30
turbo: 40
start rpm: 3000
slope: fastest
timing acc: 250

KR 26.4.2011.pdf
Unsure if the above PDF can be accessed - basically need some help with setup - need initial acceleration punch at corner exit - top end from what I can see is almost there (reached just about at the end of straight) but with extra punch should get there earlier and thus can be used properly.
One other thing is that I cannot at the moment increase FDR due to postage issues.
Track was dirty and dusty so wheel spin could have been causing some play but not a likely issue with the exit of 180 hairpins (3 in total) which is where I seem to be struggling with.
FDR 4.56
Novak Ballistic 21.5 with 25 degree mechanical timing
Temps average between 55-65C
Track temp 28C - dirty and dusty
Trims linear - no expo
DDRS 9
Boost timing 42
Turbo slope 24 units/0.1 sec
Turbo Timing 24
Boost start rpm 2000
Turbo delay 0.1sec
Timing ACC 150 rpm/unit
Any ideas would be highly appreceated

Well initially i had the timing all way back to 15 which is as far back as you can go on ballistics but was really sluggish. I pushed up the rpm to 4000 and that made it worse so got that back to 2000. I then played with acc which didnt help and then pushed mech timing to 20 and helped immediately helped so took it to 25 and overall performance improved. I think it's an fdr issue but can't do anything about that at the moment. so hoping for a diff tact in the interim

I would try the rpm again now you've adjusted the mechanical timing... 2000 to me is just too low, and as the previous poster suggests, it's bogging the bottom end. As has been mentioned on here before, some motors just need a bit of mechanical timing to get them working properly, sounds like at -15 your had gone too far the other way.

I have a customer with a Hobbywing setup in a 4wd SC course.
It comes factory with the EZ-Run-S10 and I am having trouble with making adjustments past option 5 on the programing box. Can the less expensive ESCs be re-flashed with the upgraded software and made to run?
The ESC randomly stops and the car doesn't move. ESC is running, fan on, but no steering and no response. When i hook the programing box up, and go thru the menu items, When I get to the CUT-OFF Thresh-hold, when running a Nimh pack, and I attach the programming box, it adjusts itself back to like 2.6v cutoff, despite changing it to NO Protection. thoughts?

Per request my pro10 setup of our 2011 easter race.
Track with roughly 330 feet straight when counting the large sweeper leading on to the straight. We drive 7 minutes qualifications and finals so keeping temperature in check is important.
I finished second place.
