I have a Savox 1257TG in my B44, and it is real nice. The car rotates well and is almost telepathic with how fast that servo is. For 2wd, the 1257TG has plenty of torque at 138 oz.-in., but the 0.07 sec transit time is so fast it might be a bit twitchy depending on your set-up. It would certainly work, it just might be a bit of overkill. The 1251MG is a low-profile servo, which means it is just not as tall from output shaft to plug end, but it has more manageable torque and speed for 2wd at 125 oz.-in./0.09sec. It is also a little cheaper(like $5 less). Either 1257TG or 1251MG would certainly get the job done in 2wd, the speed is up to you.

Does anyone have any input on the Spektrum cap vs. the Novak version? My hobby shop has the Novak one in stock and I definitely need something to cure the brown out issue on my Spektrum 3500 micro rx.
When steering lock to lock on the radio I see the light on the receiver go dark for 1 to 2 seconds and I loose all control.
Need this fixed so I don't loose control on the track.

I will buy the Novak one tonight and report back. I tried to find a capacitor locally and make my own but the electronic components stores in my area don't carry what I need.

Anyone elses input would be appreciated because I am by no means an Electrical engineer.
P.S.- Do you have your radio's EPA adjusted properly so you are not binding at steering end-points? Just curious if that might be causing the increased draw.

I have looked into it and they are actually different. The Spektrum is 4700uf, 10v. The Novak cap is bigger in size but don't remember the rating. The LRP cap is much smaller uf rating than the Spektrum.

Savox Servos have a 1 year warranty on them with the typical disclaimers like abuse, misuse, etc. They have a USA office so it should be aquick turn around, but like I said I don't have any experience using it. That's gotta say something about the quality.
