Opps! You're right. The 416 arms are 1mm shorter. My bad!

We can use TRF416 or TRF417 46mm CVD in Hotbodies?

I'm searching in many stores, and nobody have TCX 46mm CVD or Pro-D 46mm CVD in Stock..

Just an FYI....

I finally switched my TCX over to the steel front drive-shafts this past weekend, and I had to open up the spacing in the outdrives so the pins from the drive shaft wouldn't bind...

I tried multiple packages, and all the drive shafts exhibited the same behavior.

The following options exist:
-top photon 46mm or tamiya bones...needs blades and open/file spool cups.
-Photon and/or Yokomo dog bones with Yokomo steel cups. No mods needed, no blades needed.

there are quite a few threads about this...please search in the TCX thread.
dog bones, arms, blades, steering mods....etc.etc..

Tested the exotek chassis yesterday. If you are having a flex issue ie: snap steer or traction roll this is a definite upgrade! Although the chassis is a lot thinner than the stock chassis it provides more stability to the car and allows for more consistent lap times. The chassis pretty much puts everything close to the center line of the car. Now I just need to dial in a little steering.

Not to threadjack, but if someone has a exotek chassis for the cyclone (I figure maybe one of the HB loyalist might have one), send me a pm, thanks. Also thanks to k_bojar for emailing the diff pics to me.

Is the Spec-R TCX gear diff a direct fit or is some shimming needed? TIA.

Are you asking me?? I was referring to dropping the TCX gear diff in a cyclone TC and shimming is an understatement

But as far as the TCX, no more shimming needed then for the regular diffs

I tried it today, really good, operation and installation are perfect, no oil leak.

hey...I see you're using the 3racing blades - are they a direct fit for the HB dogbones or do they need to be modified any?
