Now, the link didn't work for me. What Lipos were you picking up for your car? And you were running the 10.5 motor. Is this for a 10.5 class or are you doing mod? Will you be using boost from your tekin rs speedo?

I actually already have the Lipo Packs. The 10.5 Motor is one I already have. I will be buying a stock Motor to run in a Stock class but for now I will be practicing in Novice. Also what is the stock size motor on these things?

Ah okay Well, other than going easy on the throttle finger I don't know what else you would be needing in advice The stock motor size is the 540 can. You have the gearing figured out for your buggy?

Sorry I meant what is stock turn for Buggy haha. Not yet. Ill find out the gearing it has on it now and see how it matches up. I have a bunch of spurs and pinions so I can get it figured out. Its a pretty small track with Stock Buggy Class drivers running 13.5-14.5sec laps.

I do plan on getting new batteries eventually but should those work ok for now? Main concern was the outlet of the wires.

Outlet not the best , try to find better as the wires will not last if you have to mash um inside the battery tray...

Yeah my thoughts from looking at how its setup. What packs would you recommend? Practice Packs and Racing Packs? Or an all around good pack haha.

Well, stock turns are generally 17.5 for most places but be sure to ask the people at the track you want to go to. As for the batteries, yeah the connectors are at a poor angle but if you put the pad on them it should take a while before they damage

I would definitely recommend sport packs for now though. You should look in the radios and electronics thread for some battery threads and get some ideas on what is good. For 2wd buggy something around 40-50c with 4500+ mah would be perfectly suited for racing. Anything over that is just extra.

What setup do you have on your suspension? Bumper steer spacers, shock positions, toe-in or straight in the front, weight springs/shock oil and ride height?

I have the Cavalieri set up from the ect race from the Portland RC raceway as the surface is similar to ours.

Thanks a ton Fantom and Wild for the help in this. I will see what I can do to get the entire setup and details. Also as far as Batteries go Ill check out the right section and research what is good for it.

Try moving the front shocks into the middle hole first and see if that helps. The wider 'spread' sort of shocks will give a bit of push. Also, check your wheelbase in the back. You might want to change the spacers.
