From my experience you actually don't want any backlash. Tighter the better without binding.

thanks guys, i bought a back up engine off here with a fresh rebuild, and this pipe came on it! could'nt pass up the price i got everything for

ive never seen anyone use 1 of those...but the Hot Shot 2 is dialed.......

ya, was trying to decide between the 2, for the hot shot, will i need the long shaft or will the short one do the trick?

nice for the front....skids in the rear are just NO BUENO...i keep trying them and they end up just getting take right back off..everytime...they do catch the top of the lips, in whoop sections....

hey guys...i was wondering if there is any difference in the spindle carries and spindles from the 1.0 to 2.0?....is there any more steering throw with the 2.0?...just wondering cause i need to buy some new 1s soon

i just found my own answer...the 1.0 carriers have a different part number than the 2.0 but the spindles are the same part #.....just to let you all know now

i know when i ran my 1.0 t i had a lot of steering throw i whould just try that out .

Yeah..pretty much I have come to the same conclusion, the only way to make one work would be to mill the chassis to recess the whole plate, but I think it would weaken the chassis..I've tried the stainless plate in the rear but after 2 or 3 races it's a plow..

I've used mine a handful of times, it works very well. It holds a charge quite a bit longer than the sub-c style drivers also. The indicator LED is nice also:

Green = Good
Red = time to recharge
No LED when on the plug = plug is bad

well i made the conversion to 2.0 and the spindles and carriers were the only things not changed....and i was doing a setup on on my buddies 2.0 and noticed his truck had just a tad bit more steering throw before lock up....
