will towerhobbies carry your stuff?

Any new estimates on price for the 1/10 ESCs? Can any of the 1/10 ESCs handle 1/8 buggy duty like the castle MMP can?

I will be testing and racing at Psycho Nitro Blast next weekend in 17.5T 2wd SCT using the new Venom Gambler, and in 4wd Open SCT using a prototype B44 SCT Conversion. Will be running Vtrax10R in both, with a VST 17.5T in 2wd and VST 6.5T in 4wd. Come by the ChampionRC booth and ask for Jason if you wanna check them out.

Tower Hobbies is directly connected to Great Planes which is a major distributor, since Viper is remaining it's own US distributor at the moment you will not see any Viper products at Tower Hobbies. The same goes for Horizon Hobby.

Expect the 10 to be around $145-160 and the 10R around $185-200. All Viper esc's will include the ProGauge 5in1 at no additional expense.

A couple days ago we encountered a copyright issue with the Vtrax series name for our car esc series. This unanticipated issue ultimately results in Viper having to change the esc name for all of our car controllers. The Vtrax series name now ceases to exist.

This undoubtedly will push our release date back a couple weeks, the esc's are all ready to go, but now we have to redo the name, all marketing materials, logos, packaging, and instruction manuals. This occurrence is both timely and untimely. It's terribly unfortunate to push the esc release date back further, but we should all be thankful this issue wasn't encountered after the esc had been released to public hands. Much more would have been at stake in that situation.

Viper would like to open the esc name to a public "contest" - If you have any ideas for a new series name for our car speed controllers please submit your idea(s) to [email protected]. Please include the following information:

-esc name ideas (and any reasoning or additional concepts behind the name is nice to know, too )
-your complete name
-shipping address
-phone number

Viper realizes and acknowledges how deep of a customer base we have already developed whom are waiting very patiently for the speed controllers. We cant apologize enough for this unforeseen delay and thank you continually for your patience and support. Customer support is our main priority.

I promise I'm more stoked to start selling esc's than all of you are to start running them Trust me they are coming as fast as possible.

Let the naming discussion begin!

VSS- Viper speed solutions

VSS spec, VSS type R, VSS stock spec, VSS 8trax- THATS a catchy name for 8th scale right there.

It is:
Simple
Easy to brand
Easy to say
incorporates your corporate name of Viper R/C Solutions.

Just bolted in a 9.5 540 motor in my Jammin scrt10. High torque rotor, will be running it tomorrow at Proving grounds "bragging rights 4" trophy race tomorrow. I'll post how it goes. Ran a Tekin with no problems last summer so I'm confident the Viper is up to the challenge!
