sc10 servo recomendation

How many splines are on the exi servo. Mine came in yesterday and I have tried two servo savers from my futaba servos and it wont go on. probably would if I forced it but figured id ask first. the steering linkage on my 10T does not have a servo saver built into it so I need one on the servo. thanks

The Savox I have in my FT has been great so far! Size of this one makes the fit better and not crammed into the truck. I looked into the "cheaper" (not by much) and actually bought a few that lasted all of about 10 runs before locking up.
Do you have any servo's laying around? If so Savox has their trade in still going on. $20 off for your old servo.

Do you really need 150+ oz on a 2wd short course truck? Savox has the 1258 with 166 oz and .08 speed. The Savox 1257 is the same servo, same price, but geared differently, with 138 oz and .07 speed. I suppose for a top driver 150+ is important. The torque helps you hold a line in bumpy corner, correct?
Anyways, for most drivers in 2wd SC, is speed more important than torque? Is 100 oz enough and then after that, go for speed?

I have used 1257s 1258s and 1256s
the 1256 is not needed for 1/10, way overkill.
I use a 1257 in buggy for its speed. Theres almost nothing to turn and buggy is primarily non contact.
SCT on the other hand is a little heavier. Bigger wheels, heavier platform. In SCT it seems minor bumping is racing, even when there is noone hacking on the track. When there is a hack job on the track, the 1258 puts up with it, no ifs, ands, or buts.
1257 should handle a SCT based on what i see out of the buggy. The 1258 is there to take a little more abuse. Personally I think it feels perfect for SCT.
Not to mention, if you add just a little overkill, it should last quite a bit longer.
