Some guy's do use a solid/spool in there mini's. These can be made by CVA gluing a bevel gear diff or using a aftermarket replacement. If you run TCS they are not legal as far as I am aware.
Disadvantage is the car is harder to drive consistantly and adds more wear to the drive train. You also lose some steering.

any 2wd and 4wd is ok but i am not sure about rules yet what do you think on the rules like silvercan motor non hop up tires ? etc

I've got an Xevo so I can race either way, just prefer Tamiya Minis.
