We have no data regarding RX8 compatibility/performance with our Ballistic 550 motors.

Thanks for the reply, I didn't know I could run a ballistic 550 with my older GTB, now I do.

As long as you stick with 2S, all these escs work great. Sometimes, you can get a good deal on the older (discontinued) escs.

The rx8 is probably one of the best options on the market to run a 550 motor, you wouldn't be sorry if you bought one!

I just picked up an rx8, I can pick up a ballistic 550 4.5 for a good price local and wanted to make sure I was able to run the motor.
