Good timing(well,sorta..lol)....I was just trying to figure that out too today. I'm using 212 software, but its probably the same....Under the "setup" tab, take your "timing profile" all the way down to 1. Number 1 is "spec" mode and you'll notice that your "timing" tab has nothing at all in it after doing this. Plus leds 3 and 5 will blink with my 212 anyway. I'm not sure if this applies with you 208 software. Maybe just your third led may blink...not sure, but it will be one of those two. Some will blink while at neutral, lol. Try it out.....let me know if it works for you....

In some classes that require a "spec" esc...they will allow esc's like the tekins as long as they are in "spec" mode aka "blinky". The speed control blinks to let the tech guys no know its in spec mode. This spec mode allow no esc timing advance,so not to have an advantage over other escs that are legal in "spec" classes. Kind of a waste of an expensive speed control, but at least you dont have to buy another esc if you have a spare tekin like many of us do.
