Electric vs Nitro

If you want to just jump over things, have low maintenence and a low operating cost get yourself a 1/10 scale buggy a couple of sport packs and a cheap charger... If you're doing what I think you are a nitro truck is going to be broken more than it runs...

I'll be finished with the ramps on monday, one 2ft ramp, and another thats about a foot, and i'll take pics so you guys can see..
And i'm totally sorry about the language lol, i don't even think about it, and i didn't see either warning till just now, just the way i talk surry..
so, which buggy do you guys reccomend? mbx-5 or kyosho? or even the hyper 7?

it depends on parts availability.. if that is not a concern.. I personally would choose the X5.. it's a remarkable car.. the kyosho is good too.. but in some cases they really stick you with cost.. and I feel the X5 is a more graceful car anyway.. the hyper is a good car too.. and the RTR package you can get with a pcr hyper is amazing..

Are buggies more capable off road than the stadium trucks? Like for bashing around construction sites, ect?
#110
Simply put..yes. They are more stable and have the benefit of 4wd to help them get through and over some things that a gas truck won't do.

Really? Huh, I always thought they were pretty much the same as trucks except with smaller fron tires and different bodies. Well, here comes the inevitable question: Can you recommend a good nitro buggy (preferably a RTR) for bashing around within my price range ($450)? I've looked at some myself, but I don't know too much at all about buggies.

That's about $100 over my limit. What about the Ultra MBX Pro?
#115
actually if your limit is 450 its only 30 bucks over

and if you cant afford the PCR then get the hyper 7 PBS which is about 400.

You know what? I think I just may hold off for the Traxxas Revo. I was reading about it today and it looks quite(ok, very VERY) impressive. And I know it's a bit over my limit, but the kit comes with everything you need, besides fuel.

Really? Have you already had a chance to drive it?
EDIT: What doesn't the Revo come with?
