That motor is the Bird 19t. Its the handout motor used at this year's Snowbirds. Its good, but I'm pretty sure its machine wound. Since everyone had the smae motor at Snowbirds, everyone was at the smae speed, so it wasn't an issue. Since the 19t spec calss is pretty popular, to be competitive, I'd go for something else that is hand wound. The Reedy Quad mag is great and a lot of guys run it. Just remember, since it is a quad mag, go down about 3-4 teeth on your pinion or you'll fry it. If you're just bashing and you're not trying to make up time on the track, a machine wound will do, but the price is fairly high.

Also, that motor has adjustable timing, which in a lot of cases isn't legal.
