Damn, I gotta stop wearing that red suit.

Default B5 announcement?

On RC10.com today there is a headline that just says

"good things come to those who wait".....

HMMMM. B5?

Look at the image in the background. It's clearly a new SC. Most likely a 4wd.

With the release of the 22 think ae has something else in the works? Hopefully a b5. I hear they are working on the big bores too. Anyone out there know anything?

Don't expect to see anything till way after worlds....

Don't think Ae would ever bring a unproven design to such a event...

Is there a need with the B4 still the best platform out there. It did pretty well at cactus and has not lost a worlds.

The 22 gave the TLR drivers a platform to compete with.

Some AE big bores would be nice though! Although are they really needed on a 1500 gram car racing for 5 min...

It does have an impressive record. Though if Tebo keeps up his streak we may see an upset this year.

If it were a B4 I'd love to see Maifield pull it off. Classiest driver in RC...

I hear a lot of people are running the RB5 big bores on the B4. Might be worth a try though they're pricey and sell out pretty quickly.

And a B5? I'd bet money that you won't see anything from AE this year.

Now that they have finished work in the SC10 4x4 (well, the engineers/designers probably stopped working on it a few months ago), what do you think they're up to now?

Either a new belt drive 4wd buggy or a new 2wd buggy.

That's my guess anyways.

The B44, now 44.1 already got a little more R&D time than the 4.1 did. I'm sure the focus is on a "new" 2wd..

I've been hearing some things going around about a t5 through some guys at my track (Leisure Hours Raceway)....if this is true, which we will see during the summer, i will be one of the first to have one. I hear that they are basing it off of a totally new platform.

I would hope not! That means I would need to buy a new kit... And a new platform? Less inter-changeable parts...

I really doubt it though. They 4.1's didn't come out too long ago and are still competing with the 22. If AE loses the worlds then my opinion will completely change

I would guess that even if they are "working" on a new B/T, it will be some time before most of us will ever lay eyes on it. As a pretty dedicated Associated fan myself, I would expect nothing less than a totally new, radical, game changing design like the SC1044. I think most customers want something new and fresh to conquer, rather than keep using what we have, even if it is working great.
