From the looks of it, this year TLR is dedicated to the electric side. New 1/10 buggy, new 2wd and 4wd SCT, new ESC's and motors are still to come.

The shock mod it make the shocks more consistent, you can order the foam compensators from 2.0 euro buggy just check amain hobbies. You will need to drill a hole in the shock cap, not sure what drill bit size but its the size of the bleed hole on the side of the cap now. The hole is to relieve any pressure on top of the foam compensator and bladder. I drilled the hole next to the mount, or you can buy the 2.0 euro buggy shock caps.

Check youtube Adam Drake has a video on the shock mod
Thanks for the info - appreciated

Questions?? rear hubs

question guys, what other option is there to eliminate the small outer rear bearing, would love to have the kingheadz but they are pricey, read on this thread that the rear hubs from another truggy would fit but can't recall which one it was, also does anyone have any experience putting on the 1.0 integy rear hubs? I want to get away from the plastic and small bearing, thanks for any input.

If you want both aluminum and 16mm bearing, the KHZ hubs are pretty much your only option.

Default Fly wheel collet

Hi guys I need a bit of help here. I just got a new nova toro nero team and notcied the losi fly wheel collect won't go all the way up the crankshaft. Is this normal? It seems the collect wasn't designed with novas in mind?

Thanks in advance!!

OR....j-dub can machine out the stock losi aluminum rerar hubs for the oversized(8/16) outer bearings....but, nice thing is that j-dub's modded hubs come with a set of the larger bearings......

Just splay out the collet by using a small screwdriver in the slot on the collet to stretch the collet a bit - it will go over

Thanks! I just did it but it broke.. good thing I have a spare! Is the point of the collet to get over the entire shaft and rest on the large engine bearing?

It appears that the tapered shaft of the engine is too thick and wont allow me to slide the Losi collet sufficiently down the shaft. When I spread the collet out it seems to break... I almost broke my 2nd collet.

I believe you can enlarge the hole on the stock axle carriers to accept the larger bearing. I think you could use a dremel tool and a sanding drum to enlarge the hole.

Yep J-DUB's plastic hubs work well. But if you're looking for aluminum hubs that accept the 16mm bearing, KHZ is pretty much your only option.

Bad idea IMO. Not only do you need to open the diameter to 16mm, you also have to deepen the race to 5mm. Trying to do all of that by hand with a dremel is way to inaccurate IMO. You will end up out of round and the bearing will end up cocked in the race. Not good.
