we also can use the Top Racing Sabre gears, black coloured too,Sabre's gears looks like similar with M06.

Here is a bunch of pics of my 06 I just got the rest of the parts in the mail today and I built it in about 6 1/2 hours. Seems long but I pay close attention to detail plus I had a lot of hop ups on it. Enjoy and ask any questions you may have. Feel free to PM me as well. Oops! Might have been because there was a lot of traction that day, allthough they didnt snap the teeth off as they normally go just burred the tops of the teeth.
I'll try them again when they come out with the alloy motor plate, there mabye some play there

Trim those body posts of doom.

I know i should cut those body posts, but instead of doing that i leave them as they are.
Cause they will protect the body on top if the car flips over and the other reason why i don't cut those bodyposts is that incase i mount another body i don't have to buy other bodyposts

addict...I really like the retro paint job. Simple, clean, very cool. Not trimming the posts, negate everything I just said and put flags on them.

Your Alpine body is great, addicted2blue. As sohlman, I like the retro paint job too. I think that the Renault Alpine A110 is one of the most beautiful european cars ever made. Tamiya has done a great choice releasing it.

Nice looking build, Swifty. Couple of things in there that may help with the quick transitions that the M06 struggles with. The M06 was fast at the TCS Regional, but inconsistant. Interesting to see how you plan on getting around that.

I've noticed a couple of people have installed the "Special Black" TRF shocks on the M06. (Ken M on page #20) used the TRF M-chassis shocks. Is there a big difference between the two model shocks?

Body posts are cheap! Hack'em off

#84118 Limited edition black colored aluminum damper set for the M-chassis...at least 2 tenths. Probably more due to the intimidation factor.

easy 2 tenths maybe even 4 on asphalt
