I have one of the grid drop downs and it's worth every penny. It makes the radio feel really solid now and easier on the wrist with the lower positioning.

I agree. I am running a standard DX3R and have no plans to upgrade. The only reason I can see me upgrading is a 4th Channel. I was planning to upgrade because of the drop down wheel. But just picked up a Grid RC and it works awesome. That's one thing Spektrum is missing out on that the other competitors have and that's a 4th Channal. Hopefully in the future a DX4R will be out LOL.

$16.67 seems about right. Maybe a little high. Shipping from Canada to the States is always a rip off. The dollar has nothing to do with it because they are pretty much equal.

I agree, who needs 50 model memory?

Were is the 4th channel!?

Hell if Traxxas can add a 4th channel to the TQ series, why can't Spektrum?

Seriously, who has even 10 models they need saved?? I mean, why stop at 50, why not make it an even 1,000 model memory and get it over with haha.

Personally I need the extra channels for my scale crawlers. Steering, throttle, shifting, winch, lights, etc...
