For racing I really don't have a use for it. But for my Baja and some other vehicles such as crawlers it's nice to have. For my Baja 5T things like a remote kill switch, lights and other little things are fun to have. But I would almost never use it for my racing vehicles.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, after two years of flawless operation, my son's dx3r pro began having issues binding with receivers and matching with esc's. 2 nights ago I downloaded the firmware update and loaded it. Yesterday, midway through the night of racing it locked up. We turned the power off...still locked up...display still the same as if the power was on. I took the batteries out and it finally shut down. But when I powered it back on...it went totally NUTS! The display wouldn't light up and the whole remote was vibrating and wouldn't stop until I turned it off. Take the batteries out and put them back in...same result...a vibrating remote. HELP!!!!

I would send it in to Horizon hobbies, My selector switch went bad and they fixed that and my floppy antenna for free. It was out of warranty.
