I would have never considered running gear diffs in electric until todays motors, but running them in nitro is absolutely required and a really useful tuning option so I could see it but the weight penalty is pretty high.

Gear diffs front and rear also.I found that some setups for super high bite carpet dont work to well but i got a smooth setup and its ballistic so much corner speed,the other setups on the site just are to twitchy and slow the car down too much it also could be the bite at our track is way higher than other tracks.

On the 54' x 100' track at Timezone 2 I am currently running 3.755 (92 spur and 49 pinion). I am planning on trying to gear up to about 3.50 today with an 84 spur and whatever pinions. Hopefully this get you in the ballpark.
My question to all.
What is the smallest spur anyone has successfully ran on the T6? During a week of oval I tried a 74 but it was to small. With the ROAR Nats just around the corner I am getting ready for both the 17.5 and 21.5 classes. I assume the 21.5 will be geared in the low 3's. Something like 84 spur 55 pinion or 92 spur and 60 pinion. Hoping someone will save me some money before I try everything.

Today I put 48P/72T and 32T pinion => fdr=4.5 for local race
And I don't use 3rd screw
for engine, only 2 standard.
Probably 70T/48p will be too small to made hole, screw will be on line
when pinion and spur mesh.
Regards!
