Does the clocked b6 get better runtime than stock? What is the breakin like after you hand lap the piston.

My current b6 just finished it's 10th gallon. Last race it wouldn't hold it's tune so I think its done.

Yes the modified engine will get better runtimes !

Break in one of Clockworks Hand lapped pistons is pretty much:
Idle 2 tanks to seat the bearings ( preheat engine of course )
Race tune, slightly rich for the first few tanks. You'll know when to go full blown race tune because it will fatten up and run like crap all of a sudden. For all 3 of my Clocked engines it happened right about the 5-8 tank mark.

I understand that "seeing is believing" when it comes to graphs, but I personally drove a clockworks engine-and it RIPS. Take it for what its worth, but just because there is a peice of paper saying one thing, I would hate for you to put ALL of your faith in it. YOU WILL MISS OUT. I am racing a truggy at motorama with this engine in it.

Ran the B5 mod / 2013 pipe this past Sunday and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Very smooth the power across the power band is simply awesome. Consistent runs 1153 Mins and its running a tad rich. Lets just say after running more then a few people were coming up asking me what I had since I only run Speeds and Mod Jx21. They were very impressed with the power , smoothness and since the TONE is very different it draws attention its LOUD and very CRISP. Thanks Clock awesome product Everyone kept asking is that a 28
