I accidentally pulled out the wires that were connecting the speed control and the battery. The 3 wires were very thin and I want to know if anyone knows if it is impossible to fix or not.

Thanks!

It would be nice to have a setup diagram. Can you connect the hotwire to the receiver lead or do you need to use the fan connector on the ESC?
I am having trouble with my RX8 gen 2. No lights, tones or fan. If I hook up to the fan connector I can link with hotwire. Otherwise the ESC is dead.
I cannot get the ESC to respond when I hook up to the receiver lead. Is that normal.
I don't like hotwire's GUI. I cannot resize the window. It is too small to read comfortably on my Windows tablet. Red on black is a bad color scheme also hard to read.

I run Tekin in all of my cars, buggies, truggies, etc. I do not have a pc. I have apple computers, and an iPhone. At the track last week there were 17 racers all with Tekin esc and all with iPhones. Non of us could program our escs with our phones. I give up! What is a inexpensive alternative to a PC. Do they make a cheep tablet that is PC based that would work. I saw some Android tablets that had USB and wifi on them. Is there any of these that would your? I wish Tekin and Apple would have an app for the iPhone. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

We are closing in on giving Iphone owners the ability to use the hotwire, stay tuned! Many customers just purchase a cheap tablet that they keep in there pit bag. Something like this for example: http://www.walmart.com/ip/RCA-7-Tabl...-Core/45804398

Also you can program most of the settings via the on board buttons on all our ESC's.

I have to run parallels on my mac for some other stuff, and that works great. parallels is not a free alternative, i understand, but i think bootcamp for mac does the same thing. i know this is not a good answer, but i can attest that using parallels definitely works. now if i just had any idea what each of those settings meant ;-)
