PS. Just yesterday I was telling a good friend of mine who is sponsored by Team Losi- that Grid RC just came out with a Drop Down Wheel Adapter for the DX3r. My friend explain to me the only reason he has not sold his M11 and switched to the DX3r is because he doesn't like the wheel up high- and prefers the wheel down on the same axis as the Throttle and Brake trigger- like the M11 has it's wheel placement. My friend was familiar with several of the Losi team drivers running the DX3r with the Drop Down Wheel Adapter one of the Losi engineers made for a few of the Losi Team Drivers(about two years ago) but my friend said because he's only a 50%(sponsorship) he did not have access to these awesome drop down wheel adapters for the DX3r.

Once I explain to my friend that Grid RC has not only design a really awesome Drop Down Wheel Adapter which places the wheel of the DX3r on the same axis as the throttle- and that it's also available now for purchase- he was really suprised and asked for the link and direct web site. He said he's buying the Grid RC drop down wheel adapter right away and was extreemly grateful to know this was not an exclusive- Team Drivers Only- Product It felt really good to be able to help my friend. He said he will be selling his M11 and finally get to race with the DX3r with the Drop Down Wheel Adapter- He's very happy

I have never used a Drop down wheel as I have only used the DX3R. Many people say that it is way more comfortable. I guess I will have to wait and see.

Got my drop down last week and the placement of the wheel feels very natural. Was thinking about colouring the adaptor but once I put the graphic skins on I was very happy with the way it looks all together.

This is truly nice looking. I completely agree with you- the clear coat Anodizing looks really good. Great choice of wheel and sticker wrap. May I ask- where did you purchase the wheel for your DX3r. Please post the link to where I may buy this wheel- and also- which model is the wheel?

I'm very happy with my Drop Down Wheel Adapter by Team Grid RC. I can see why Adam Drake and many of the Losi Team drivers/racers have been using their own version of a Drop Down Wheel Adapter for the past two years. It's very comfortable- and actually improves the balance of the radio- and provides a more natural feel to the radio as well. I highly recommend this drop down wheel adapter to anyone looking to improve the balance and comfort of their DX3r. The attention to detail and quality of the design is absolutely awesome
