Hey I am wondering why does my 3.3 tmaxx do this. I notice when i drive it around and i am trying to tune it. I notice that fuel will start bubbling up from the top of the head. I am wondering could the glow plug not be tight enough?

I take its coming from the glow plug hole.
2 things i can think of is 1, you need a new copper seal for the glow plug and 2, maybe the thread on the head has stripped a bit? over tightening the glow plug?

The seal can wear out? Becuase i have the glow plug in for a few months now. But i dont think the head is stripped because i never remove to glow-plug. Well i removed it once, it might need to be tighten up more.

Prob plug is loose. You need to check the plug every once in a while to make sure its tight. These things vibrate so things come loose, reason you use loctite.

Also check head bolts/screws, make sure they are tight. Most likely it is the glow plug not tight enough/ or stripped like the others said.

Oh, Well i will check tomorrow and make sure the plug is tight.

Could this cause a bad tuneing?

No, it may just lose a little power. It used to be a common thing to loosen the plug on motors with real tight pinch so they would be easier to start.

Just be careful and make sure you don't strip it. Its in alum and its not that hard to strip.

This is probably already obvious to you, but I'll state it out loud to be sure. In no case should you ever put loc-tite on your glow plug......

For the obvious, correct, don't use loctite on the glow plug.
