I just ended up finishing 3rd overall in pro truggy running my pitstops at 11 1/2 mins with fuel to spare also with an 086 pipe. Alan richards drove an awesome race and brought it home with his b5.

I was an os driver but I think ill stick to my werks engines. U should too!

What's your excuse I know your budget allows for the werks pipes ? Congrats Tony sounds like a good time.

Thanks Q! I have no incentive to run another pipe. I've got the motor, I've got the runtime. I would rather spend the money to get to crcrc. Its expensive being the privateer!

Ran the IL race at LH this weekend as well. b5/2013 in truggy (1 gallon motor), werks plug, byron's 30% race. 45 min a-main, pit at 9, 21, and 33 min. Finished 2nd behind Al with fuel to spare. I am very impressed with these motors. The power, fuel economy, and ease of tuning on these motors are all top-notch.

Thank you Ron,
My B5 performed flawlessly over the weekend and and propelled my Losi L8 latemodel to Victory at The 12th annual Dirt Oval National at Racers Haven hobbies. 15 min oval main the car made both pitstops without a hickup. I didn't have quite the bottom end I needed (my only problem) but my 2013 pipe had a hairline crack and I used a JP1 so the power and mileage wasn't as good as it needed to be for TQ. The motor ran well in the main held off a Nova Rossi P5 for .8 sec win! I really needed the bottom end of the 2013.

Ron, love the motor so far, have about a gallon on it. My question is: with colder temps (40's-50's) in Florida you would have to fatten up the motor but I'm only seeing temps of 160-170 and the motor rips. Is it because the head is not getting warm enough because of the colder weather? I hope this makes sense. Thanks,

Makes sense but 40-50 is not too cold. If your only running at 160-170 you are still rich, lean it out some more

I need more pop out of the corner for oval racing if I go to an 8.0, or larger carb restrictor would that give me some punch.

No that will be either clutch, pipe or gearing. Larger restrictor will give you more top end.

Ah, the infamous hat! Can't believe that your still rocking that back at home lol! It was really cool hanging with you guys over there also, me and Kortz are going to try and get down to Australia and race with you guys again next year, hopefully things will be a little bit more relaxed there lol. Don't think that we have ever worked as hard at a race as we did in Thailand! Tell the guys that I said hello if you see them!
