good fun, fast and clean racing the last to weeks....

but on a side not... getting done at 12ish am is getting hard on the body....

a couple suggestions/questions...

start an hour or so earlier??
run 2 qualifiers and the mains??
run the qualifiers just 5 mins not 6mins....

also for the mains why does short bus run 6 mins and super trucks/open get 7-8 mins?? open/new drivers get more time in the mains than short bus??

open 6 mins.. short bus 7 min and super 8 mins..... should be how it should go for time on the mains.. just my opinions.. not to start any trouble just wondering... jeremy

jeremy to answer your question
open sct gets 5 minutes heats and mains
super sct gets 6 minutes heats and mains to attract more drivers we gave you guys an extra minute
super and open truxx 7 minute heats and mains
this is the way it has been since i came along i dont believe it will change i push the show as fast as i can bring it up to jeff mann or at a board meeting if you want to see it change
personally id like to see everyone including guys from monroe have the chance to race with us on a regular basis but would not be opposed to a 5oclock start tim as far as dropping a qualifier i say no thank you i think the way we have it is pretty flawless and i belive people are getting their moneys worth

my 2 cents

I think we need the 3 qualifiers. It's good to see the big numbers of racers. Bump down the qualifiers to 5 and make our main 8 or 9 minutes would be cool. It wouldn't matter to me because I'm only good for 4 minutes anyway.

Nice driving in the main Jeremy and Stan. Tory did a great job also with not alot of practice with the truck. For me I'm going to forget that main all together!

I need to say sorry to Zac and Jeff. Both felt I hacked them. To me I thought I cut under them in the corner and had position when contact accured. I try to be as clean as possible when I race, because I know how it is when it happens to me. For my actions I'm suspending myself for 3 weeks. Just a joke guy's. See everyone Saturday for more great racing.

A few reminders....

There is a board meeting this Saturday at 3 at the track. All are welcome to attend. We will add the starting time as a discussion item.

Onroad racing this next Sunday the 5th.

Elections are happening this month. Please volunteer for a position on the board or for an officer position. This is your club. Help make a difference. Sign up sheet is posted by the heat sheets.

We are looking for a few members to take on a few jobs around the track on a consistant basis. They are easy jobs but need doing every week and would help the club greatly. The first job is getting the soda and chips. We reimburse you for the items every week. The second job is cleaning the bathroom. All supplies are furnished. With the numbers we have this is really needed once or twice a week. I will be glad to share this duty with someone. Last job would be floor sweeper. Somehow things land up on the floor and a quick run around with the broom weekly helps keep our place safe and looking nice.

Please see me for taking on these jobs.

That could of very well of been it Zac. My truck was pushing like a bus that night. Either way, I learned from it.

Gabe I know that feeling. Making the A main though is very tough now a days.

I can't attend the meeting this Sat, I'll be attending a party where I think I'm going to be overserved.
I would like to have an input on the start times tho... I vote for an earlier start time.
Reason being, Tyler would like to race more often, but finishing up at 11:30 PM is a bit late for him, as I'm sure for other young drivers that would like to attend but can't.
A 5:00 PM start time had been the regular start time for years at Marcca, there were at lot more young drivers then, which of course will be the future members of Marcca, someday.
The guys that had to work Sat. were still able to race if someone saved them a pit spot, worst case they would miss one qual,(Lambo can still make the "A" with 2 quals easy) Same goes for the Monroe guys.

So put me down for a 5:00 start time vote at Saturdays meeting.
