the car is as quick as any other, although on the straight the tekins initial pull is greater for around 3m when i catch up.
as for lap times, last night the fastest gut was 8.36 sec lap and mine was 8.76 and that is more to do with driver skill...............
67 degrees on the motor is less then room temp I would hope. how is that possible? you use 22m to tell the size of the straight, I'm gonna assume that the temp was 67C

Default Cirtix short course esc upgrades?

I have some questions, and this sure looks like the place!
SC10 w/ Cirtix short course master setup, w/ included program card and 3600kv motor. Purchased from Shawn Palmer, new, about 6 months ago.
22/87 gearing, temps good, performance good.
Works great in competition, but.......
DRRS maxed out, Timing maxed out, Torque limit maxed out,( 0% limit).

What are the software upgrades available?
What performance increases can be obtained?

Removed the 3600kv SP motor, installed a Venom 10.5/4200kv/540,(temporarily), to try to get more all around perf. increase. 22/81 gear, temps good (esc & motor),timing maxed out, DRRS maxed out, Torque limit @ "0%".
Kinda "BLAH", better, yes, but does not run like other Venom motors I have,

IS the ESC the culprit?
What am I missing here?
Thanx to all.

Default I know, I know

Realize that this thread is for "on-road" electric, but sure seems as though there is a LOT of knowledge that hangs out here regarding SP products!

Can someone please advise what is different about this rotor?
Its a 13mm rotor, but rated as high rpm and high runtime, but this goes against what i would expect of a larger rotor?

RM13806 - 13.0mm Orange Ring

V3.0 3.5T-8.5T Rotor
Orange Ring 13MM
with Super 7
High , RPM and Long Run Time

Thanx for the advice, after looking at my post, gearing seems....scewed,
will do this friday, much cooler temps though, think your info. is the ticket.

Gonna make you a trade, cogging? Well..... ONE more thing to check if your sensored, mech. timing, adjustable, motor is cogging, remove the rear cover, look close at the sensor plate/rear bear housing, look for "shiny' spots, where the p/c paths terminate, w/ solder. TOO much solder will/can/HAS caused the circuits to ground out on the rear cover itself when tightened down.
Will act like sensor harness is un-plugged, ie; un-plug sensor harness, cogging still remains, after all else has been elimated, BINGO!
Can/will inhibit ESC timing adjustment, lost a bunch O hairs over that one!

THANK YOU for your time, knowledge, and advice.
CHEERS!

Solora...

Any difference between the Citrix Stock and Short Course ESCs? If so, what are they?

so my friend and I have both have cirtix stock club race esc's, we are both running about 3.2-3.3 fdr on 21.5 in our 4wd onroad sedans. His car is shaft driven, mine is belt. His brakes are not working as good as mine... We use the program card, and my 50% braking is as strong as his 100%. Any ideas? even going to a higher fdr did not help much for him. his Esc is BRAND NEW...

just got my speed passion cirtix stock club race today, and im having a problem getting it going. When i swith it on the red led flashes and beeps continuously.
Its attached to a tekin 10.5t sensored motor and a 5000mah 7.4 lipo and a pretty standard receiver and transmitter. The only time the led stops is when i take out the sensor cable and plug it back in but after that nothing happens

anyone know where im going wrong

thanks
