I was under the impression that MARCCA's forum was the place for this discussion and apologize if this is not the case. I have had similar concerns and have started a discussion there. Spedtke has been kind enough to clarify things for me.

Main inversions will be a topic for discussion at this weeks monthly meeting at the track at 3pm.
As stated...the intent of inverting is for fun. If more people are concentrating on winning the weeks club race then we certainly will do as the members wish.
In my opinion, if we did not invert the A super trux mains one of a couple of people will win every week with no problem. This may dishearten others to try and compete with the big dogs and not even show up.
We all must remember that these are club races and meant to hone skills and have fun.
To quote Craig Hill...."If I worried about winning I would have quit racing a long time ago." I personally try not to get too serious when I am playing with my toy trucks. I urge others to do so too and you shall be rewarded by more overall enjoyment of our hobby.

That was why I wanted to invert. To see how I would do with passing with an sct. I started in the back and made my way to the front. Yes it was alittle iffy, but it is a challange. My skill isn't the greatest yet with the sct because I still hacked afew trucks going by. I like to be able to pass cleanly, then I am happy with my driving. Anyone can drive through someone, but a good driver can drive around someone.

At our board meeting on Saturday we came up with the "inverted starts rule".
Only the A mains of the Super classes are allowed to invert. All drivers in that class main must be asked if they want to invert. If one person does not want to, there shall be NO inverted start for that race.

That's both sensible and fair to all competitors. Should a driver want to start in the main, in the position earned through qualifying, he/she shouldn't be denied that. If everyone wants to invert, there should be no reason not to do that either.
Perfect...

We always try to accomidate the wishes of our members and racers. They are the reason we exist.
Racing was a bit cleaner this week than last week I am told . I did emphasize that rough driving was not going to be tolerated during the drivers meeting.
Our goal is always to allow everyone to have fun with their toy trucks. Suggestions and comments are always welcome.
