We will keep the price at $59.

As for volume, a dozen wouldn't even cover the cost of development and machining time. We can do a run for at least 50 to 60 mounts, although the more the better.

As for a diff access, it would make both sides happy. The mount will be much stronger without the access, but we will engineer it to be as strong as possible even with the access feature.

Hey Team Grid,

I have an idea for your motor mounts. It would be a very small change that would make them more reliable while still retaining its strength. Please PM me.

I don't change my diff every run but I do change the oil before any full race day and like the rcmonster mount I'd like to be able to remove the diff without having the motor hanging off it's wires..I guess I could NOT wire the motor direct to the ESC and add bullet connectors in between but I'd prefer not to do that.Grid RC says below he can keep the price the same and pretty much as strong with a split mount...??? I think I'm in for one split or not but my vote is on the side of a split. If I'm outvoted I'll shut up gracefully

I too would prefer a split mount for the 808 but it's not a deal breaker. I would buy one either way!

Ron,

The drop down pics look great for the DX3R! Do you have an ETA on your first batch? As you already know a lot of us are excited about this!

Thank you,

Pat

Thanks Pat,

The first batch is finishing up now possibly in a few more days.

My suggestion for those that want it to put in their order in now.

Ron
