Xray guys. Let GridRC know we want a mount made for us! He has no reason to make one if there is no interest. I know I do! We already have the best buggy and truggy out there! Now we need the best mount!

Might be interested in this mount too..does the xray version still have a split center mount to allow easy center diff removal etc..If not can this be added? Also is this just the rear mount used with a standard xray front diff mount or is it both parts?

The factory 808e mounts eliminated the access to the center diff. Is this a must have feature for the GRID version?

Well personally it's one of my favorite features on the 808..used to run kyosho sp2's and both of mine had a fioroni split alloy center diff mount for the same easy access.it is one big moan point on the 808e thread that you can't get the diff out..I believe the front mount on the 808e still splits but apparently you just can't get enough of an angle to pull the diff out without removing the rear mount and motor complete. If you could do it (and I'd pay more for the feature)then still having split diff mounts so you could remove the center diff without removing the motor at all would be awesome.I'm thinking with the way your eccentric gear mesh adjustment works you might have to just roll the motor away from the center spur to facilitate diff removal but as the reason for removal is usually to swop in a diff with a different size spur gear you'd have to reset mesh anyway so no big deal.

What do other 808 drivers think? come on boys chime in.if this dude is gonna make us a mount do we get ALL the top features at the same time!

YES !, ...If enough 808 owners want a GRID mount, then we will develop a mount that will allow easy center diff removal. Resetting the diff takes seconds.

I think it is a nice to have, but not really necessary imho. I don't change my diffs every run, so it isn't a big deal to have to just remove the entire motor mount to me for diff access. I am normally doing more complicated surgery on the car anyway when I switch diffs, so the car is broken down pretty well already.
