There are a few of us who have similar cars and have run at the CORRC pavement track this summer. Cars are a kick to drive and the rubber tires will last for awhile (well not the soft kit tires). There are two threads here on RCTech for the IGT cars and yes there are better brake options for you.

I've got a DM1 but the other cars around are GT's or GT-2 cars. PM me if you want.

Hey thanks for the feedback. I don't mean to hijack this thread. I have read other posts regarding this car specifically and I'm learning a lot. Right now it's back in the box as it's getting too cold outside for it.
And fYI for the on road people in Denver/Aurora, the parking lot for the senior center at Del Mar park is a great parking lot. Very big, fairly new blacktop, no curbs, no light posts and it's usually mostly vacant.

great racing today. especially in world gt. we had some super good quals and tight racing. vintage was a rip, and we all had a great time.

want to give a special shout out to keith karnes, who had a great car in vintage, and drove as well as i have ever seen him drive. good work keith.!

mike donovan also had a great run in 17.5 touring with brent klingforth. and brents wgt was super quick.

Something that might not have been thought about, the eplex race is next weekend is that race going to be used as part of the series or skip that week and use the next ? Cause i know im going to the eplex to put the smack down on mr. phelps (lol) ,so i wont be their and i know of a few others that where planning on going also.
