a round caliper to measure it i know my isnt round its straight with 2 groves on the sides. il just replace the shoes i dont have a gallon on them yet though there the med king headz alum shoes.

your not talking centered on the shoes are you? if so your wrong, you wanna measure at the very tip of the shoes, im sure nick has a photo somewhere

ok i tryed it and by looking at the pic on the losi site forum my capilar doesnt go over the all the clutch shoes even though i tried to center it like you were saying im just going to replace them.


i havnt had a gallon on there yet though and i did clean file the sides of the shoes with a file . there king headz med alum shoes

i would run them!....but if you have an extra flywheel to setup a NEW clutch then run the new clutch and keep the old 1 as backup!...all this clutch talk and its making me want to change mine out!...like 4 gallons on them ....

yea im going to do that than i did have my clutch bearings go bad during a main and the bearings came unseated now the bolt was tight but the shoes dint look to bad just a little tlc.

well i do need tires so that will save me money without getting the shoes for now.

Those round calipers are hard to come by too. Gotta keep an eye out for a set. They can be very helpful.
