stick with the losi!...youve already learned soo much!...why learn a completely different chassis and have to find out how another truck runs!....the 2.0 is just a smoother and longer and wider truck!...youve already learned the main things to learn about the 8ight's period, WHETHER IT BE 1.0 OR 2.0 BUGGY OR TRUGGY!

I did as soon as it came out and it was a night and day difference. I pretty much put every option part I could get my hands on the 1.0 but its still not a 2.0

Can anyone point me to the proper Diff oil setup for my 8ight T 2.0 please.

I using an RB B9 Race Engine, which seems VERY powerfull, when I first tuned it in properly

Car seems to balloon much on the front tires, and in general seems to have low traction. The rear also seems very eager to slide out.

I'm new to the RC world and would love to know what diff oil to use in the 3 diffs.

Thanks in advance

/Jim

7-10-2 for me but on your ballooning problem, i run the O.S. .25 and i have to replace my center diff fluid about every race weekend to avoid ballooning.

If the front tires still balloon a lot with the 10k center, try 15k. In most cases 10K is perfect.

...I am about to order a new 8T 2.0 tonight but with the new Losi release and all the forum chatter and I thinking it's best I hold off until they release an updated truck. Do you think Losi will release an updated 8T anytime soon? 8T 2.5 perhaps?

In the past, new updates have been put in as rolling changes to the current part #..

The eight 2.0 has evolved over time to include many of the new style parts, such as ball cups and brake pads.

If they do something similar for the shock tower on the truck, it will most likely not be introduced as a new kit, so you would be rolling the dice on how long it would take for hobby shops /distributors to filter through the old stock.

I'd say, just buy a kit and upgrade it when you can/ if you feel neccessary.
