Thanks alot :-)
I haven't got that pipe but will try a Novarossi 9901 and a Hong Nor 2047 + 4 different headers. I'll let you know - perhaps in next week. I'll receive the engine tomorrow

+1...the RE10 is great on the engine...the JP3 is also great................the 2045 works, but reduces the power quite a bit..

The beauty is in the house

Uses turbo plugs.
Novarossi venturies fits in the carburator, so I can go down to 6 mm venturi, to see runtime and low end power.
I'll not compare it against a Novarossi Plus 4 engine (so damn powerfull
), but against my NOSRAM RS .21 RR engine.

What a great engine
Broke her in using the heat cycle. Took 2½ liter of fuel before she (he???!!!
) dropped the balls
Easy to adjust - even with 6 mm Novarossi venturi. Steady as a rock.

I used my Hong Nor 2047 (2-chamber) pipe for the break-in and some normal practise. I thought that pipe worked great on the engine... Until I tried my Novarossi 9901 pipe! GOD DAMN, that pipe put some power in the engine!!!! Much more power, more than a minute longer runtime on a tank of fuel, and even easier to adjust!!! I had to LEAN the HSN 1/3 of a turn to get her run just clean on the straight. I didn't want to compare this engine with my Novarossi plus engines... But they are damn close...!!!!!

This engine is compareble with much expenciver engines with just a little shorter runtime - just choise the right pipe
. I run O'Donnell 77T plug, 20% nitro, stock shim an a NOSRAM (long and ]-shaped) header. Next year I'll try the Novarossi 41021 header (shorter header and )-shaped).Honestly, thats a REALLY great engine!!!!

Anyone wants to try a new engine???? Buy a HPI!!!

Happy New Year!
I've just tested my new JP-3 pipe to make a comparison to my Novarossi 9901 pipe. It's winther here in Denmark, so I could only drive on a frosen lawn.
The performance seemed to be similar between the two pipes and the carburator setting was similar too. I've to test in the sping on our track to see bottom and top power between the two pipes.
