I have searched high and low and i cannot find where anyone has posted the actual dimensions of the battery compartment. i have seen many posts mentioning which batteries will fit, but i am looking for the actual dimensions. Unfortunately i cannot measure the car myself as i dont have it yet.
Any help would be great.
Thanks,

you can also put the battery on its side, and modify the chassis to use velcro straps instead of the stock battery clamp, so you can fit larger batteries such as these.

Good question. The drive system is completely different so I wouldn't take it for granted.
edit:
I looked at a picture and they seem to be the same tub, the only difference being a cut out in the rear before the transmission for the extra gear for the belt system.

The belt chassis is a totally different tub and will fit a slightly larger battery.
Ammo, what exactly was the problem? I know its not quite as easy to fit every possible motor in the belt drive, but I have no problem fitting anything meant for 18th scale in it.

I agree. I too hate belts and people have been having issues with the tension on these. I think you'd be better off with a Duratrax, HPI, Kyosho or X-Ray. Even a Mini-T desert if you don't mind 2WD.

Ahh, I see your motor looks pretty monstrous in your car. I was simply speaking about any 20x30-26x40 and several sizes in between that I have fitted to the belt chassis with no problems. But it looks like yours might be even bigger; have you considered a larger car?
