Radio Control Hobbies & Raceway - Waterbury, CT.
However in the winter it does become a mainstay class. That's why I actually had the RT5 , just to be guarnteed to run with good guys. But run what is the moSt fun to YOU! And enjoy! See you soon
Guys,
The Inside Vintage Layout is complete. It is real 80's vintage as far as what it is. Thats all I gotta say.
Probably not ready to run since its waaaaaaaayyy too wet, perhaps on the weekend it may. Either way, we are runnin tomorrow and should be a good turnout from what I am hearing, so dont miss the fun !
See ya'll there !

You guys made my day....
Hey Matt,
You're still on for the VONATs??
Hey guys,
Don't read too much into this people, its all friendly Jib Jab, I must say though, there's a very thin line between confidence and arogance...
Points series:
I won the 2wd points series once, with Tom S., John B., Nick E., and Kyle all battling for the title, I won the series, so I was better than all of them??, heck no, but my impecable attendance and the least amount of entries for that class on Saturdays, won me the tittle...
Most of the 2wd guys were battling on Wednesdays, Saturday's 2wd class was very small, with 4-5 buggies racing per heat, giving me a better score and a higher place in the points...
Its awesome to have a points series, is motivating, its competitive, but it can give some people a false sense of superiority...
Just my humble opinion....
PS -- I'm gonna win the Points series in sportsman...

Got my Mod Truck and Classic buggy ready to rock. I'm trying like hell to get a 4wd up and worthy for next weekend so I can give you and Raul something to sweat about, but it's still up in the air at this point.
I might just throw a brushed Vintage Tekin ESC and a CO27 brushed motor, just to have some running gear in it and have fun with it. There's no point in trying to be competitive....

4wd Class:
Mike Valentine
Stephen Maizer
Raul Garcia
All fast guys running real fast cars, I got a 4wd tank....

Don't be discouraged, my main class will be Truck...
The good news is I found a bearing steering rack for you RC10. The bad news is that I'm in New Jersey this week but you're not! I'm trying to get up there on Saturday for some tuning for the Vonats for 2wd and Heavy Metal, ill bring the rack with me and leave it with Mark if I don't see you.
Mojo_dan,
Ill also leave the rest of the yokomo parts with Mark or John too.
Not sure ill be back for Saturday but I'm going to try, really need to get the cars dialed so they're good if I can make the race. Is Saturday a race day again or just practice? I've got to take care of Will while I'm there too!

Old News, Old Man...
they annonced it at the ROAR Nationals....that kid Dakota Phend is a beast. Hope they show it on LiveRC.

you wont need a hotel for this one
