i remember reading that they were going to be a bottom loaded shock like the off road shocks.

the other wild rumors i heard were that they were going to have a shorter body and a bigger bore.

i personally never had problems with the old ones.

I believe that the new shocks are on it. They are basically the same as the new ones for off road. The o-rings and stuff load from the bottom and there is a screw on cap. However you still have to fill the shock from the top.

Olly Jefferies, one of the UK team drivers, ran really well with his at the weekend poling the A final until he was hit by one of the Tamiya team drivers in two of the finals!

Check out here for a pic and a report.

As far as I know Olly's prototype is running the current VCS2 shocks.

I had just finish watching Talladega Nights when I saw the picture of Olly's car. The caption says, "The pole sitting Associated TC6." They should change that!!!

“And Girard is sitting on the pole. Which is a statement of fact, and in no way related to his sexual orientation.”

Questions??

Im thinking of getting one of these instead of a TC5R, but my question is how thick is the chassis going to be? 2.0mm or thicker than that? I hope not 1.5 since that would be too thin and if you crashed it would snap probably in half. thats my only concern hopefully it will be as thick as the TC5 chassis.
