im having the same problem with mine right now, give it gas and it cuts out! have to blurp the throttle to get it going. still cant fint the problem, i know it not a tuning issue, i know how to tune.
I had that happen to me before. I am not 100% sure in my case,I took the fuel filter out, replaced the line, replaced the cracked exhaust seals. I also took out the needles and cleaned the holes with nitro cleaner. this was on the older carbs with out nitrile seals. Engine ran great, then I put filter back on air bubbles, bad seal in filter? I had a jammin x-2 that had the seal on the fuel tank cap go bad that caused same problems. On my mg-66 when it dropped it's nuts same thing. Took out break in shim, put in new plug retuned, still runnin like a raped ape!!! hope this helps.

If you have already checked every thing out, just put in a new plug and see how it runs. One last thing, make sure head bolts are tight. I've pulled that one before. I have found with go-tecs if you take apart, clean, seal, you really never have anything go wrong with them. At least that's been my experience. I always would think whats wrong with the engine when in fact it was always some thing else. Here's my last goof. Had fuel line coming from filter a bit to long. rubbed a very tiny hole in the line.Engine running funky. I checked every thing. Finally just got pissed replaced all the fuel lines found problem. I had even ran my had over it. But from what your describing sounds like fuel restriction of some sort. Good luck!!

If it coughs and splutters then dies on acceleration it is quite often the plug.
If it was running good before and it has gone south without you touching the needles it will be something external for sure. Once tuned these motors usually hold their tune very well.
808gx7R - make sure you have re-set the bottom needle to flush from when you screwed it in so far, or you will get lean bog when you lean the top slightly. Start top needle flush, bottom in 3/4 turn from flush. Lean HSN in LITTLE steps until clean running at WOT then lean bottom for good take off.
If that doesn't work you may well have an air leak somewhere, or some dirt in the HSN jet, which will cause all sorts of crazy tuning problems. Pull the needle and blow out the needle seat then tune as above again.

I have a go 0801 pipe with little use on it and the button on the front that the wire attaches to broke loose. It goes in and out of the pipe freely. Couple questions, 1. Is there anyone stateside that can or will warranty this? 2. If not are the pipes aluminum? I think it would have to be tig welded to repair. I've been considering trying jb weld but I'm afraid it wont hold up.
Thanks,
Brian

I'll have to work on the picture tomorrow. It is not just the hole broken out but instead the whole..... ?nipple? is broken out of the front of the pipe. The hole is still perfect! The worst part is that I just finally matched this with our gen5? 7 port and it was silly fast even with a 6mm restrictor. I'm really starting to think that matching the pipeset and engine is critical. Easier to tune, runs better and better mileage, maybe pressure related? idk, maybe it's just me.
