Robinson bells are the best bells I've used on the losi cars. I've used both losi versions and the robinson ones. The standard losi ones are sloppy around the bearings, the high endurance bells are just weird and the robinson bells are perfect. Well they're a bit heavier than the others, but they last a long time and have a nice tight bearing fit.

yea i did notice the, kind loose fit with both stock and hd clutch bells.

the only reason why i heasnt, to trying the alum/plastic shoe setup is because the rb s5 doesnt seem to have a lot of bottom end but i think a 13 tooth clutchbell could help that.
the engine is still pretty new, though and my bottom end is kind of rich.

oh im gone to be getting a new, one anyways proberty the robinson eight clutch bell i did notice a slip in my clutch.... during the begining of my main im guessing that i could be, the endurance clutch bell because i dint see any blurs on the dynomite shoes.
i mean the edges get a bit rough not where that would hang.

a dynomite 86 pipe i dont have, much money so im trying to go to cheaper route with a clutchbell to get more punch. i did hear somebody say to use the nova long pipe on the 86.

That pipe works okay with that engine, the rb pipe would be better, but there pricy, you could try a longer header, that will help the bottom. Is the track you race on a small track, technical? medium, with some long straights?
#8033
i would say its a large track with, not real long straight aways and its technical. i have enough to just clear, the jumps but i would still like a little more punch. i could lean the low end out more
if you change the header do you have to change the tune ?
#8034
Yes, but it should not be too much, what tires are you running?

What are you geared at now? I would go back to 13/50 gearing. I run that everywhere, even on the biggest tracks. Also that 086 isn't helping any with bottom end. That is a purely top end pipe. I would try an 053 or at the very least a LONG header on the 086. With any pipe change, header included, some tune changes will be needed. Shouldn't be anything major though.

im using a 50/14 gear setup, whould just using the a 13 tooth bell help more ?
i might get the long header too, i know the 86 is a top end pipe its wicked fast.

Instead of going to a 14 CB try a 48 spur gear. I bet that will give you a better balance of torque and speed. 50/14 = 3.57, 48/13 = 3.69, 50/13 = 3.84. The 48/13 is not quite as tall as the 50/14 but still taller than 50/13. Give it a shot.
