Not sure what kind of setup you're running. Foam/Rubber, spool/diff. I was never able to get the spool to work for me on carpet. Our track always starts out low then comes in throughout the day. I ran a front diff in my car and had great success with it. Only 3 cars were able to run 37 laps and I was the only one with 38. Turned very well and never felt unsettled. I was running the 2.5 lipo chassis as well on rubber tires.

Eventually!! I'm holding up my next order for parts until the gear diff is out.

Everyone will have their preference. If you're looking at someone else's setup sheet, you will have to know how THEY measure droop. If it's .5mm in the rear, I would assume they are using the bottom of the loop. I measure Uptravel from ride height myself. I only use the droop gage (under the loop FWIW) to verify that both sides are equal. On the front arms I use the area of the arm forward of the c-hub.

Just an interesting build observation, looks like version 2 shocks still have the loose piston fit I read about earlier in this thread, so if your buying or building a photon even with the newer shocks, make sure to get some .3mm thick small diameter 3mm internal hole shims.
Oh and the spur pulley will need some tweaks as well, also shims, what comes with the kit won't give you a centered spur, it needs different shims to center it properly, not huge deal, but it would have been nice of TOP to throw in some shims so you can tweak these things without having to buy more bits.
Mind you it's not like TOP are alone in this, I really need to build up a better collection of shims myself, keep needing more and never have the right sizes...

Having real trouble finding replacement 10.5 ball cups. Can find the 14.5 and bigger but not the 10.5. Its the ones that go on the bottom of the shocks and on the sway bar adjuster. Anyone no if they are available as a pack or do you have to buy the complete sway bar kit.
