Default crawler comp July 4, 2010

2.2, CR01 and Scale comp on July 4,2010 will be at Angono, Rizal. this will be an outdoor event hosted by DAX and his crew. So, bring what you have to bring (water, food, tent, etc) and of course your comp rigs. this will be our 3rd leg for the 2.2 class and the 2nd for the CR01 class. For the scale, we haven't decided if we will make a series for this class.

since most of us dont know where the place is, this is the schedule for the meeting place before we go on for the convoy.

6:00am at Tiendesitas parking.
6:30am take off for the second meeting place with Dax.
7:00am at Tropical Hut along Ortigas (before the fork to Antipolo and Taytay)
after that, on to the site.

Heres my other jk just for looks cant crawl for shi7

I got the body from an RC Jeep sold in the US made by New Bright Toys. I found mine on ebay. The trick is to find a listing that post the Australia.

The body is quite easy to mount on the SCX10. Just need to extend the links.

Extend the lower 91mm links to 111mm and extend the upper 60mm links to 80mm both front and rear. This will give you the wheelbase you need.

Hope this helps. If your desperate for one of these bodies send me a pm and i'll see if i can help to get one accross for the US. It wont be cheap though as the bodies sell usually for US$180 - US$220 and then shipping to Australia is about US$60.

fen: Yep, galing nung aluminum bodies, yun lang, pag na dent yun dapat magaling latero mo!

keno: lupit din ng gumawa ng fiberglass pajero body mo, thats not easy to fabricate and working with resin and fiberglass is quite messy and stinky at that. hehe. Cool tingnan ang 5 door pajero, and baka tama lang sa wheelbase ng scx10 mo.

Nice rigs gymjunkie23!

Edwin: Thanks for posting the link. Ive seen that rig on tamiyacrawlers already pero ngayon ko lang nakita yung ginawa nya sa front diff. Very Interesting. That hummer rc was available in rustans toy dept last christmas pero ngayon ubos na, siguro scaler ang bumili.

Dami pa sa Toy Kingdom SM Mega kya lang tumaas price. Anyway kahit di naman hummer body at least its a good idea on extending CC01 wheelbase.
If you need longer drive shaft meron pa ata ako pair dito ng T-Maxx drive shaft (pinag palitan ko ng MIP CVD) medyo twisted ng konti pero pwede pa
