I suggest a Tamiya Pajero CC-01 for a quick start and enjoy the fantastic course at Factory48.

@ sir siggy and sir f48,
thanks po sa fast reply's. guess i'll have to wait for the crawler itself first. pero last question for now, yung AX10 pwede syang gawing 1.9 diba? or may 2.2 din ba na scaler? medyo naguguluhan pa ako... 1.9 lang ba ang scale looking or pwede maging scale? kasi baka mamaya Out of the box. gumawa na ako ng shell for the ax10 tapos too big pala sya and wont be considered as a 1:10th scaler. if anyone could enlighten me on this one aswell. is the 1.9 scaler same as the 1:10th scale?
thanks po ulit...

I previously posted this one-off HULK made chassis which is also a direct fit for AX10. *Hulk" is a master chassis builder at RCCrawler, same guy that custom crafted my Rock Bug chassis.
It is an awesome replica of this 1:1
These are examples of where stock AX10 axles, tranny, shocks, wheels and tires will nicely fit

thanks for all the suggestions, but is there a chassis available locally and would resemble a non-tuber chassis? not really a big fan of this. pero baka pwede narin to, pag no choice talaga. what i like the most sir siggy is yung ginamit nyo sa tundra. anong chassis po yun and pwede ba gamitin yan sa ax10?

Swerte mo. There are many skilled fabricators sa Pinas, Get a chassis plus steering servo, shocks, and tranny mount, done and order-up a complete Tundra Body, Interior, some 1.9 wheels and tires, shorter upper and lower links, probably shorter shocks, and custom 4-link axle mounts. Add servo, ESC, and RX, your all set to Rock. Welcome to the world of Custom Building.

As for the rules:
Ok lang sakin that we depend on rim size but my concern is baka mawala na ang "scale" look ng rigs natin. Di ba its nice that we'r all using scale looking rigs? And how can we differentiate our scale group with other crawler groups with 2.2s and 1.9s? Ive also tried competing against CR01s. Ok din naman... medyo mas mahirap lang ang laban (tama ba jess &Sir Noel?)
I also think an AX10 with 1.9s will have a definite advantage compared to our ladder type chassis with 1.9s. From what i read, there are super crawlers, 2.2 crawlers, 1.9s, and scale crawling. Scale crawling can be further be categorized into street, trail and tuber/KOH class (if im not mistaken).
Pero as what Madda and some of you suggests, just for the fun and simplicity we can just categorize by rim size.
Ok na sakin basta we get to enjoy driving our scale rigs.

I'm planning on hooking up 1.9 rims on my CR01. Pwede na isali yun diba? ladder type chassis naman siya.
