Have you guys thought about getting softer shock springs and adding weight to the chassis to get a more realistic suspension travel. The thing that gives Scale trucks away is the way they bounce around as they go over obstacles. It betrays their weight.

Did you have to pay customs taxes? How was it shipped? Fedex or Local post office?

keno/sir miles/edwin: Thanks bros! Next vid will be a killer since we're playing with the crawler boys.

siggy: Yan ang naghihintay sayo sa Pasko pag-uwi mo. Yung hinihintay ko, wala pa.

Min101: Lupit nung LPG! Shellane pa!

age69: Welcome to the thread chief. Unfortunately, the only Land Cruiser body available locally is from Tamiya. Proline used to have one called the Bushwacker but I think Pitshop doesn't have it anymore. Last I heard it's discontinued already due to licensing issues. Scale body comp, no sked yet.
Tamiya FJ40 WB = 10.5"
Proline Bushwacker WB = 11"
Axial SCX10 WB = 11.4" (CF-100 & TR) / 12.3" (Honcho Kit)

Factory 48: Hi bro. Agree with your observation. But I think performance will be compromised if we go true-to-scale configuration. Ok lang siguro yan basta enjoy. Anyway, got this from a recent article on RC Car Action ...
[ MYTH ]
Heavier rigs are always better
A light, nimble rig set up correctly with proper forward weight bias will perform better than a heavier rig. It’s basic physics. The heavier something is, the harder it is to go uphill, and the easier it is to flip while side-hilling.

[ MYTH ]
You need tons of articulation
This is a very common misconception. Although lots of articulation might look impressive, your crawler will perform best with around 30 to 45 degrees of articulation. Anymore, and your rig will try to twist and wont’ be stable on the rocks. The truck will also feel less predictable on the rocks since the front and rear axles are not working together and are in extreme positions on the rocks. More often than not, excessive articulation leads to a truck doing an impression of a pretzel when it encounters a difficult obstacle.
