Just switch to AKA I-Beams in either medium or hard compound

+2 on the I beams and then pick up a couple of cityblocks and you can use the city-beam combo it's close to the bow-fighter combo. Works very well. The aka compounds do hold up better than the proline stuff. Try med you will be pleased.

+3 on I-BEAMS. They are better than a bowtie could ever hope to be. If you like the firmer compound just go with Medium or Hard AKA's. I Personally prefer Soft compound.

+4 on I-Beams, I prefer Med compound, they hook up awesome where I run (Hobby Hut, Philly, PA - hard red clay) and they last very well too. The Soft's are great but they only last a few hours and burning up AKA's is not cheap. City Blocks up front and I-Beams in the rear works well for me.

I was running on a track that was loose loam/soil the other day and the City Beams worked awesome there too! Huge fan right here!

WOW! I have a set of soft truggy I-BEAMS that are over a year old. Many hours of use on them, and they still have like 85%+ tread. I guess it depends on what surface you're running on, and the driver. My soft's have lasted forever!

Ya, no joke, a hot day at the Hut and the track surface is like Mars. It's hard, dry and cracked. In fact, it's a cheese grater. If there is moisture than the surface is tacky and fast, real nice. A brand new set of City Blocks, smoked in a few hours You ever come up from Pittsburgh?
