This is for Neal.....another stupid question.....Neal,what kind of grease is used in the front bearing on the JL from the factory? It seems to stand up better than any I've seen. Thanks,Dave.

i have the stock version of this motor, is it just me or does the low end like to be leaner than most, mine runs great now but i had to go leaner to get the engine to quit loading up on our track, i had to go old school and pinch the fuel line and get it where it only came up alittle in rpm's before it died, once i did that it ran like a top. just alittle info if anybody is having problems check that out.

Just saw where Neal did a Dyno of a B5 stock vs Mod. I would have thought the JL would be the first to get that honor as much as he's been bragging about it this Spring. When are we going to see the JL get Dyno'd? I love my Clocked JL and would like to see it compared to the modded B5.

The Mod B5 makes more peak power no doubt ...however the JL has a much smoother curve that comes in earlier and carries on further in the powerband.....

I gotta jump on hear and say my stock jl with jp3&p3 plug on 30% in losi 2.0 truggy pitted at 10min last weekend in 20min main. after 20minutes was 215degrees and still had 8th tank of fuel left. impressive with good power

Sounds like a winner! Has anyone had a chance to try those OFNA plugs that DJ was speaking of?

yea, seal it up with lucky 7's sealer and take some plummers tape and thread it around the low end needle threads make sure you thread it counter clock-wise...it will create a better seal

Another plug that I found to run great and last
in my Clocked JL is the Dynamite #7(med.) turbo
plug. I had the engine tuned for the med. Picco
plug and when I switched to the Dynamite plug,
I didn't have to re-adjust the carb. I have ran
a gallon of fuel, taking plug readings after each
quart ran. The coil in the plug still looks great, perfect
color.
