M11 Steerign wheel
#1
My M11's steering wheel has a tendency to not return to the neutral ("zero") point. More often than not, it returns a few ticks from neutral and it messes up my driving sometimes. Has anyone experienced this? If so, what have you guys done to resolve the issue.

Found the problem. The screws on the housing where the pot resides was a bit tight. All I had to do was loosen the screws a bit and the problem seems to have gone away for now. Hopefully it stays that way. Thanks guys.

unspoken sometimes the wheel gets smushed up against the radio and rubs, causing binding. i always when i pull my radio out of the bad i give a good tug on my wheel to unstick it. you will hear it click and feel it pop out just a bit.

I have had this problem with the throttle pot. The center moved. I cut off the pots alignment tab and re-center the pot. All works now but it would act like I hit the brakes for a moment and then let off to neutral again. Weird to drive. The nice part is the radio has the servo monitor screen so I could see what the radio was telling the reciever to do.

I also found a PDF with an issue with a pin on the steering assembly coming loose which causes the issue. It also describes fix. In fact, I thought that this was my problem and took everything apart then found out that the pin was intact. When putting everything back together, that's when I realized that if I didn't tighten the screws down all the way, the steering would no longer get stuck a couple of degrees from neutral. So I'm a happy camper.
