I use the losi conversion kit. It's the simplest and works great! The Tekno kit looks very nice, but IMO it's too complicated with a different chassis and clutch, etc... I would recommend the losi one.

The inner holes on the new tower are in the same position as the stock v1 tower holes.
yes i know... and casey said that stock is the best place to run them..and i agree...i changed mine back to stock and it felt alot better... he said on some tracks you MAY need to play around with them

I like the feel much better with the shorter link. It may just be a preference thing, but to me the truck feels much better with the shorter link. I have done some back to back testing and to me the truck just rotates much better with the shorter link. My 2 cents.

I can't really be of much help for an E truggy setup. I just run the E buggy, not the truggy. In the buggy I run my normal nitro setup of 5/7/3. You may have to go up a bit in center oil with the truck, but I would try your standard nitro setup first. You will probably want to go up 5wt in shock oil all the way around too.

yes i went to the stok posistion but runing the shorter links... just like befor the v2 tower came out you shorten the links and move it to the a hole... it just makes the truck react more... you can get damn near the same effect if you have it in the b hole with the stock links...aka the "stock position" long as you have the shocks int the new hole on the tower..get it?

OK I see what you mean. I run the shorter links AND the outer shock hole. Which makes the truck rotate even better. I'm lovin that setup.

yes i do too. i was tryin to tell the guy buying the new tower what i was explaining, so he wont have as much work to do etc...

most the guys that have the shorter links are because we were testing this befor losi brought out the tower etc...

I run castle and I couldn't be any more happy than I am with it. I was running the 2650 but I recently switched to the 1800. I mainly switched so that I would have more run time. Initially I was a little disappointed since it was a good bit slower than the 2650. However after running a few laps I realized that I was actually faster with it since it was much more manageable.

I am running mine on 4s which is plenty fast enough in my opinion. With all this said I believe that Tekin is just as good, I've just had such good experience with castle that I haven't had the urge to try anything else.

Sorry for the electric talk, not trying to derail the thread or start any arguments.

For sure! I ran the short links for like a year before the new tower came out.

I ordered a set of turnbuckles from the rear of the 1.0 truggy they are 100mm,hopefully they wont be to short compared to the front turnbuckles of the 2.0 at 107mm,thanks for the help.
