8T 2.0

I broke a couple parts yesterday in practice that I have never broke before. I busted the CVD right where the pin goes through. Both of the rears snapped in 1/2. !st the left and then the right. The track was not a big air track and I do think these might have been in there for a while. Im just concerned. The only thing I changed is I went to the KHZ alum hub carrier one race ago, but I dont see how that could make a difference. I remember this issue when the trucks 1st came out but anyone still having this issue?

I had one of my wheel cvd's break like that. I was doing a pre race teardown and noticed a split in the axle. Good thing I caught it before it broke completely. First time in my 6 years running Losi I ever saw that.

Hi people this is my first post.
I have a Losi 8T2.0 and i race in a local track in Athens, Greece. I got a little problem with shock stand-offs as i have broken two of them. So is there any tip to protect them from breaking?
I have another issu with my front left right rims. I have broken an AKA one and a Losi one. Is it random or is there something i should pay attention to?

As for the rims, that is a known issue with this truck and can be completely resolved with a couple things. One is to run the losi +2mm hex hubs in the front of the truck. The other is to use a dremmel and sanding drum to remove a bit of plastic on the front of the left-front arm. Turn the wheels all the way to the right and find where the rim rubs the front of the arm. That is the spot where you want to remove some material. Just take a little off at a time until the rim doesn't rub. Those two things should solve all wheel problems. I've yet to break a wheel since doing the above and the arms don't seem any weaker even with a bit of grinding.

are we talking a crack along the 3mm pin end ? or a complete failure as in bone in 2 pieces. ?

In my 2.0 buggy at a gallon i noticed a crack(hairpin crack in dogbone around pin). Then with my 2.0 truggy right after i pulled outta the box it had a crack. Both front cvds..buggy front right, truggy front left. Losi replaced all no prob

Thanks everyone for helping me spend my money. I placed my order today from a local shop that sponsors one of the tracks I race at. As soon as I get it I will be stripping the nitro goodies out of it and putting the electric conversion kit into it that is currently in my 1.0. I am really looking forward to racing it this weekend.

i used to race nothing but electric offroad, i just got boring after a while for me lol. nitro always gives me a thrill on the track
thats cool though if you want to race electric, i do race a slash though and a rc18t in the winter time.

It'll never replace nitro for me, but electric 1/8 scale has it's own thrills!

i just dont care for the quiteness of them , i do have a couple of racing buds who run 1/8 electric and i seen, them run them it just doesnt do it for me.
i know how much power they have, though but sometimes that can get you in more trouble
