The manufacturers' claimed HP for nitro engines is way off from reality. Don't ever go by those numbers. A Clockwork Racing JL .21 will make that Dynamite feel like an RTR mill.

The clockworks modified version of this motor is insane people at the track were amazed at its exhaust note and power band. A gentleman and his son where out practicing today and saw me struggling with the tune. He made 3 quick adjustments and it completely transformed the way this engine performed. This thing was pulling 4-5 car lengths on everything on the back straight.

Glad you liked our Clocked JL Ananda!

I'm going to be running my JL/JP3 in mine today and finally get to burn some leisure time! Neals also running his JL/JP1 in his MBX6T (just arrived yesterday)for the first time today.

Don't hesitate to call Neal if you are ever having any tuning issues! Even try and call while you are there running the motor and he will guide you the right way over the phone and while hearing your tune. He's got an amazing sense of hearing

Enjoy!

I cant stress enough how much i love this motor. I didn't touch it in two continuous days of racing. People were asking me about this motor all day. Very powerful, and smooth with an exotic exhaust note. Neals support is second to none.

Ok guys a just got one of these motors from a friend brand new in the box unopened I put it in my D8T. The break in when great I have about 3/4 of a gallon on it. I when to the track yesterday to get some track time on the motor but I could not keep it running I am using od97t and a jp1 and then I tryed a jp3 it was a little better but not much. Every time I put it on the track and did some full throttle pass it was fine and would not shut off but if I did some 1/4 to 1/2 throttle pass it would die. I went and sealed up the motor and checked the clutch to make sure it was not hanging up but I just cant get this dam thing to run. any help would be great thank you

Your low speed needle is probably way too rich. It should be about 2-3 mm recessed into the ball link

Get rid of the od plugs, I had nothing but flames, p3 works best for me. I had lots of trouble with tuning these at first, the bottom needle does not need much tuning, leave at 4 full turns out from closed, top 3 1/2 turns from closed. I had the same problem, bet the bottom is too lean, and stupid od plugs

are you racing sun lakes this Friday night? I would like to compare needle settings with your stocker compared to my Clocked JL, just to see if there's major variations
