Dont know anything about this store nor Vorza, But to ask the mods to remove post is way premature - maybe this guy is legite, maybe he works all day and can only post at night - at least give people a chance to respond.

I went to the hookers in Singleton a fair while ago, only got billed $1.80. They made a mistake and I saved on the price of a franga

I have been shopping at RC Hobbies virtually every week for the past 3 years and almost always use my credit card, if you were going to scam someone it would be a customer like myself not a one off who purchased 2 years ago.

However, I wouldn't put it past them to make an honest mistake, on busy days it can be a mad house in there. Disorganised maybe, dishonest to the level of fraud very unlikely.

Oh and putting up a single post to defame a business in a public forum: very stupid, especially when they will know who you are. I know if I were the owner, I would have my lawyers on your arse in seconds.

When I rang them to ask how this could have happened I was lied to by the manager. the story he came up with was b grade bullshit.

please take care not to get stung by RCHobbies or at least if they try it on don't let them get away with it.

Vorza,

Your account details are kept in the system as from the date you opened an Account. I have intimate knowledge of this system and I think it would have been more suitable if you also posted their response as to give the public an opportunity to make their own decision.

Are you sure a buddy of yours hasnt used your computer or has knowledge of your credit card details. It would seem that if you were less cynical they store would have taken the time to investigate the orders database and confirm the shipping details regarding the processing of the credit card and sale

In addition, all online store are subject to full liability when it comes to fraud, as per the banks and credit card institutions, so any legal claim you have with fraud would lead to a credit to you and a loss both for the stores inventory and the return of credit

So it astounds me that you think you are the one taking the risk shopping when in fact the odds are all stacked against the store.

Certainly I knew it was foolish to post.
My motivation for it was to help others, not strictly to defame the store.
Charge was made at 4pm on a sunday.
I was told that the card was used in the store.
I know it sounds convenient but the card has only ever been used in one location other than there and that was in person.
I felt sure that it was intentional, this was the only unauthorised transaction. Why wouldn't a random fraudster empty my account and why did they choose this certain place to commit the crime.
Mistake or not it happened.
I do realise that the store looses when frauds are committed, but that is if they are detected and a charge back is issued.
A moderator should delete this because it is enabling me to commit a crime against RCHobbies.
So many positive experiences and only one negative is a good record but what if the one was you.

I have brought from them before and never had a problem. This thread is a bit of a waste of space.

This is very simple, did they refund your money? I can only assume they did not refund your money otherwise you would not claim they are thieves and it was simply an error that they have rectified? Perhaps you should take this up with dpt. of fair trading or consumer affairs first before making anonymous unsubstantiated allegations on a public forum?

I've also used rchobbies in Petersham for nearly ten years and don't have a significant complaint to make about them (knock on wood).
